Webinar "Add some innovation in your public procurement" (water sector) 14th June 2016
In the framework of the Water PiPP project, the International Office for Water is organising a webinar on innovation and public procurement in the water sector on Tuesday 14th June 2016 from 10:00 to 11:30. The aim is to encourage the stakeholders of the water sector of the project to explore public procurement possibilities for innovation through pre-commercial procurement and procurement procedures. Participation to this webinar is free of charge and open to water-related public services professionals upon request for application.
- 10:00 - 10:10 : Introduction and presentation of the Water PiPP project and Pre-Commercial Procurement (François Touchais, Legal Advisor at International Office for Water)
- 10:10 - 10:35 : Presentation of the How-To Guide for Implementation of Innovation Oriented Public Procurement (IOPP) Procedures (EU Level) (Terry Simms, Knowledge Transfer Manager at KTN)
- 10:35 : 11:00 : Return of experience on public procurement of innovation in the water sector, and other sectors (Ville Valovirta, Senior Scientist at VTT)
- 11:00 - 11:20 : Questions, exchanges
- 11:20 : 11:30 : Conclusion and wrap-up (François Touchais, OIEau)
This webinar will take place on the web conference private platform of the project.
